Rheana was four years old when she was diagnosed with an astrocytoma brain tumor in August 2002. She is now thirteen years old. It's been a long road and unfortunately along the way she developed other complications. She lost her vision, suffers from epilepsy and developed diabetes insipidus, which she takes medication for daily. Her medication was being covered through a patient assistance foundation which has been discontinued. She has no insurance to cover the cost of this medication that she needs to survive. A donation was given to Rheana to help pay for her medication which her family is very thankful for.

Sweet little Chloe was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December 2009. She has had 3 reoccurrences and has been through several rounds of chemo and radiation. This has resulted in numerous outstanding bills for the family. A donation was sent to cover those outstanding balances. The family extends many thanks and appreciation to the fund and all our supporters for helping them through this rough time.

Grayson, is an 11 year old boy from California who was diagnosed with an inoperable, infiltrative brain tumor through out his brain and spine more than five years ago. He has been through 8 brain surgeries to help manage his chronic hydrocephalus which causes severe headaches and nerve pain. Grayson's original health insurance plan was canceled on 1/1/09. The current policay he has is very restrictive with regard to where he can receive his treatments and what types if any therapies are covered. A donation was sent to Grayson to help fill the gaps where his insurance has fallen short. His mom has extended her deep appreciation for this assistance.

7 year old Gabriella was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in November of 2010. She has been in treatment ever since which has included extensive chemotherapy and limb salvage surgery on her right arm. Although the family has insurance the deductible each year has left them with balances they were struggling with. The family was extremely grateful to the fund for assisting with satisfying these outstanding balances for them.

Brittany Hilton is a beautiful 14 year old girl who was diagnosed with Medullablastoma, a malignant brain tumor, in Feb. 2008. She had a brain tumor resection surgery the very next day. Unfortunately she has been in a wheelchair ever since her initial surgery. She had radiation and chemotherapy and did fairly well.

In November 2009 she had a relapse and required chemo again which didn't show any changes. She is currently enrolled in a study at Arnold Palmer Childrens Hospital. She is maintaining her current regimented treatment with success. With all the treatment that Brittany requires it has been very hard to manage the numerous additional bills the family has incurred. They are grateful to the Samantha Britton Memorial Fund for helping them take care of these bills and express a heartfelt thank you to all that made it possible.

Jean Saint Fort was diagnosed with High Risk Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February 2009. A donation was sent to Jean to help pay for his inpatient copays and for his transportation to and from the hospital. He and his mom were taking 3 buses to get him in for his chemotherapy treatments on a weekly basis. Waiting for the bus in the hot summer and cold winter months was taking a toll on Jean's health and added to his need to be re-admitted to the hospital for antibiotics or fluids for dehydration. This donation has given his mother peace of mind knowing that the hospital is a short taxi ride away. She expresses her deep appreciation.

Amanda Sardone was diagnosed at age 3 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. With intense chemo therapy she went into remission. In November 2009 a year and a half later she relapsed. Once again she is faced with a very intense regimen of chemo causing her to be admitted in to the hospital often. A donation was given to Amanda to help her parents pay the numerous co-pays for her medicine and inpatient stays. The Sardone family has expressed their sincere appreciation for this donation.

David was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. It is a hybrid of lymphoma and
leukemia. A donation was sent to David to help off set some of the medical travel expenses his family was faced with due to his having to receive his treatment out of the state of Florida where he lived. With such a rare cancer the best option for him was to be treated in Texas. After 9 rounds of chemo David is now in remission.

Six year old Erin Perez was diagnosed in August 2009 with Bilateral Wilm's Tumor with Metastatic Lung Lesions. She has been through surgery which included the removal of her right kidney, radiation, and extensive chemo therapy. A donation was sent to Erin to help with her on going medical co-pays. Her parents have expressed their sincere appreciation for the assistance as they feel it has given them some room to breath. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.

Mary was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma (a rare liver cancer) in July of 2006 when she was three. She has had a liver and lung resection. She has relapsed numerous times and has participated in a handful of clinical trials. A donation was given to Mary to help pay the monthly co-pays for her numerous visits to the doctor/hospital. The Eisnor family has expressed their appreciation & gratitude to the Memorial Fund & it's supporters for helping lift some of their burden.

Alec Mardjani was diagnosed 2 years ago with a brain tumor, anaplastic medulloblastoma, at age 5. He has gone through an intense medical protocol and several brain surgeries which has left him with severe disabilites. A donation was sent to Alec to purchase a special walker recommended by his physical therapist to give him back some independence and a better quality of life. The Mardjani family is very grateful for this donation since their insurance company would not provide coverage for this walker.

Jerry Kaplan is a 3 year old boy from NY who was diagnosed with A.L.L. Leukemia in April 08. He requires weekly doctor visits and extensive chemo therapy and is on a treatment regimen that will continue for 3 years. Since diagnosis his mom has been forced to leave her job to care for Jerry. A donation from the fund was made to Jerry to help his parents pay for his doctor/hospital visits, medicine copays, and the copays for the many procedures his treatment requires. The family is very grateful for this assistance and expresses their comfort in knowing that there are people out there that really do care.

Max is 2 1/2 years old. He was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma - a cancer of the sympathetic nervous system. A donation was made to Max from the Memorial Fund to help his mother pay his astronomical medical bills. Max has had eight surgical procedures and is currently in remission. Shelby just turned 3 years old and has been battling brain cancer for 18 months.
